About J. Mark Dubose
Mark Dubose recently joined the Law Office of R. Flint Crump, P.A. after moving to Florida with his family. While practicing law in San Antonio, Texas, Mr. Dubose’s wife, who was a registered nurse, decided to continue her education and pursue a career as a doctor. After four years of medical school, Dr. Dubose is now an orthopaedic surgery resident at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Having always supported equal rights, both for his clients and his family members, Mr. Dubose closed his practice in Texas and moved to Florida.
While an undergraduate at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Mr. Dubose was the president of the student government and of his fraternity. This leadership experience taught him how to negotiate effectively with varying interests, including the art of knowing when to compromise and when to fight. It was in those early years he learned the most important lesson, “It is always best to negotiate from strength.” As an attorney, he strives to make both you and your case as strong as possible, either for a successful negotiated conclusion or for the battle of trial.
Mr. Dubose has taken on insurance companies and large corporations, including State Farm, Allstate, PacifiCare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and DuPont, just to name a few. He has successfully taken on cases that other lawyers have refused simply because they were not “slam dunks.” Mr. Dubose provides personalized representation to his clients, and has never practiced in any “mill” type setting.
